The VALE Way

In 2013 Merivale School entered into the Positive Behaviour For Learning (PB4L) professional learning contract with the Ministry of Education. PB4L is a school-wide behaviour programme that encourages positive student behaviour in the classroom and the playground through praise, positive talk, student encouragement, appropriate rewards, behaviour lessons, reinforced values and consistent behaviour messages.

At Merivale we show all of the above through the VALE Way.

Our students are taking greater responsibility for their behaviour than ever before and we are delighted to see them displaying so many fantastic life skills.
