A big welcome back to Merivale School for 2014. It has certainly been a hectic start back to the year with many new enrolments. Children are already well settled into their learning pathways for the year and we are already witnessing some amazing results.
In our second week of school we attended our annual school picnic. This year we went to Fergusson Park and had a fantastic day. The children were busy with swimming, kayaking, cricket, T-ball, touch rugby and playing in the playground. Everyone really enjoyed themselves and we loved seeing the large turnout of whānau who enjoyed the day with their children.
We are really looking forward to all that 2014 will bring and sharing the fantastic achievements of our children with the community.
